What is Expedited Shipping?
Expedited Shipping is basically an add-on type offer for your Gift Cards. If you order your reward before 2:00PM PST and pay a "fee" of 50SB and you will get your reward by the end of the next business day. This can be really handy if there is something you are really anxious to purchase and you need the reward right away.
Usually Expedited Shipping only comes around Christmas and Canadians were left out of this for 2012, but from their blog it looks like we will be eligible for this for some rewards as it mentions Expedited Shipping Internationally.
I have not personally used it, but I can imagine if you needed that $25.00 PayPal or other reward quickly, it could come in handy. Especially for the higher denomination rewards. I don't think I'll be using it myself, but you never know when you might want/need it, so it is an interesting move for Swagbucks.

What is Account Verification?
Eventually Swagbucks requires all of their members to verify their account. This verification is used to ensure you are indeed a person and have a physical address and/or a cell phone. This will either come up when you are redeeming at the rewards store, or you may even have a current reward you've already verified get cancelled. Once you go back to the Rewards Store to redeem you will be required to provide a PIN to verify yourself.
The easiest way to go about this is to have Swagbucks send you a text/sms message on your cell phone. You will be responsible for all text/sms charges, but it is a one-time message and Swagbucks will not use your cell phone number to spam you. Once you get the pin, you just type it in on the Rewards Store page where they ask for it and you're good to go and you can continue with your order.
If you do not have a cell phone you will be required to have a postcard sent with a pin on it. Once you have received your postcard just visit your “Account Details” page, which you can get to by hovering over your name on the top right of the Swagbucks site and clicking on “My Swag Bucks,” where you will be able to enter your 4-digit pin.
